The Nuu-chah-nulth woman reported missing from Vancouver’s Down Town East Side has been found safe and is waiting in a safe home for her family members to pick her up.
The Coquitlam RCMP confirmed in a press release issued the morning of Mar. 6 that 39 year-old Angelina Louie has been located safe and sound.
Louie, a resident of Coquitlam was reported missing Mar. 3 and was last seen Feb. 27 in downtown Vancouver.
An elated Sue Johnson was on her way to Vancouver to pick up her daughter. She confirmed that Louie had been found on the afternoon Mar. 5.
Johnson declined questions about the circumstances of the disappearance, saying the matter was still under police investigation.

The Coquitlam RCMP are seeking help from the public in locating a missing Nuu-chah-nulth woman.
Angelina Louie, 39, a resident of Coquitlam, was last seen in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside on the night of Feb. 27.
She is described as 5’6” tall, 110 lbs., long black hair, brown eyes with a tattoo on her arm that says ‘I love Danny’. She has the word ‘angel’ tattooed across the fingers of her right hand and a snake tattoo on the same hand.
According to family members she was wearing a red Calgary Stampeders jersey, black stretch pants with angel wings on the legs, a black jacket and pink Nike shoes.
Susan Johnson is the mother of Angelina. She said it is unusual for the family not to hear from Angelina.
“We all see her on Facebook every day and we chat,” she said.
Johnson reported her daughter missing after she received a message from a concerned person who hadn’t heard from Angelina all weekend.
